Near Kazimierz Dolny lies a small settlement with old hut, well like heart standing in the central point and sandy roads, which like arteries branch off into the four quarters of the globe. Mecmierz - living heritage park.

It was supposed to be established by legendary king Krak. It used to be a city, and now as a village is one of the oldest settlement on Lubelski region. Located on the edge of the Kazimierz National Park carries many signs of several centuries in history.

Museum of Zamoyski Family in Kozłówka is the only museum-residence on Lublin land. It encompasses 18^th-centuried Palace and Park Complex, Gallery of Socialist Realism Art, Palace Chapel and more. Palace in Kozłówka was extended by Konstanty Zamoyski (1846-1923) - 1^st ordynat of Kozłówka - making a lordly residence of it. Palace interiors were furnish with rich collections of painting and craftsmanship.

The town sightseeing is worth to start with the Sanguszki Family's Palace from the 18th century. Its foundations were built by the Firlej Family. Many changes of owners, wars and fires did not serve good to the monument. At present there is the residence of the County Eldership.

Our greatest chronicler - Jan Dlugosz gives the information that the castle in Kazimierz Dolny was built by Kazimierz Wielki in the 14h century. Its walls were the witnesses of many important events in the Polish history. After the wars, among the ruins its magnificencey need to be found.
